Lead Up Academy
LUA was a mentoring program designed for elite high school students. In addition to mentoring, mentees were given opportunities to improve through accompanying workshops and activities.
Lady Up
Lady Up was designed as a mentoring program that helped young women overcome all obstacles with the support of mentors – those who already know how to do it.
Wake Up
Wake Up was intended for anyone who wanted to do more in life but didn’t know which direction to take. It taught participants how to take the first steps toward success through coaches and a series of motivational trainings.
Networking Night
The event raised awareness about the career development of young people. At our event, university and high school students met with exhibitors – companies, non-profit organizations, and institutions. This gave them valuable insights into the opportunities the market has to offer.
Back from Abroad
In the 2017–2018 academic year, we organized a “comeback” project for Slovaks living abroad. If you had seen something interesting abroad, you could write to us with suggestions on how we might implement it in Slovakia. The winners then received great prizes.
DODE
The Open Day of Power Engineering was a two-day project that introduced high school students to the world of power engineering through an experiential approach. They had fun directly at the faculty, explored the high-voltage laboratory, and during the networking program, they had the opportunity to connect with university students from the faculty.
Youth 2 Business
The goal of the project was to create informal connections between company representatives and job seekers through casual activities. The company representatives showed that they are just people too.
Success is Free
SIF brought participants closer to professional reality through discussions. We gave young people a chance to take a behind-the-scenes look into your company or business by offering them real insights and proven advice.
Bermudia
The goal of Bermuda was to find the most talented students from Slovakia who tried to find a way out of the “magic triangle” between businesses, NGOs, and the public sector. Student teams brought innovation through experiential games.
