What is Future Generation Europe?

We empower youth to achieve more, to find themselves and to shape their future via guiding tools and opportunities.

WHO ARE WE?

We are a group of young professionals and HEI students who united through conviction that we ourselves can influence the world around us. We realized that we desire to focus our ideas to education, since this area is still recent for us. As a group, we see here incredible potential and room for improvement. We are trying to implement here the solutions we were lacking on our journey through school or soutions we see that are in demand. Everyone in FG Europe is a volunteer. For project BFS, we utilize 2 paid part-time workers.

WHAT ARE WE WORKING ON?

We analyze the situation in the labour and education market. When we see something that needs improving, we are implementing dynamic non-formal education projects and activities. In the end, this all is done to create a spectrum of guidance tools and projects which aid students in deciding what to do next with their lives. At the same time, we are creating projects which are empowering key competences of youth. These can improve their chances to succeed.

WHO ARE WE DOING IT FOR?

For all young people who are upon making next career or education step in their lives. FGE is educating high school students from the age of 15. We are focusing on explaining how to choose a proper university or how to opt in for a different personal or career path after graduation. Older students are improtant for our vision as well. FGE is connecting HEI students and graduates with opportunities at labour market or in business in general.

WHY ARE WE DOING IT?

In the times of the digital era and all its threats, it is utmostly important to teach young people how to properly work with information. It is even more important for them to know it in such a fundamental area as the career opportunities. FGE believes that education is supposed to be fair and students shall choose their path according to their own desire and competences.

What makes us different?

WE KNOW HOW TO ATTRACT AVERAGE STUDENTS

Average young people have nowadays even lesser interest in things around them. However, choice of university or career path is indeed common and important for all of them.

Structure of our projects is interconnected. Firstly, we attract and motivate hundreds of students through mass projects such as MiniErasmus or Networking Night. In the aftermath, we organize activities broadening their knowledge, connecting them with opportunities or building their competences.

WE ARE DISCOVERING TALENTS WHERE OTHERS DO NOT

The impact of our mass projects allows us to operate nationally and not just locally. Therefore, we have the access to students from all regions in the country and we can start searching for hidden talents in them.

Young people do not believe that they can change the world around them. Our mentoring programs are focusing on motivating students and giving them necessary competences and contacts for success.

JOINT TEAM OF YOUNG WORKERS AND HEI STUDENTS

FG Europe is not just a student organization. There are skilled young professionals maintaining key roles in the organization. These people have already few years of experience under their belts and are ready to give it back to the community. This allows us to provide stability and professionality in execution of our projects.

At the same time, our leaders help younger members of the team to adjust in their new roles, mentoring them internally.
